TRAJECTO / RHYNOCK GAMES
Privacy Policy
How Trajecto handles local game data, website visits, and messages you choose to send.
Your flight stays on your device. Trajecto has no player accounts, cloud saves, public leaderboards, advertising, or in-app purchases. The game does not send your gameplay records to Rhynock Games. Website delivery and messages you choose to email us are handled separately, as described below.
1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy covers Trajecto at trajecto.rhynockgames.com, the browser game, the Trajecto iPhone app, and related support. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Rhynock Games, based in Missouri, United States.
This policy describes the features currently available. A store badge does not mean that a platform version has been released. If we add accounts, newsletter subscriptions, purchases, or other features that change how information is handled, we will update this policy.
2. Information stored on your device
Trajecto stores game data locally so it can remember your progress and preferences. This includes:
- personal bests, flight counts, catch streaks, rings, and progress through the game;
- unlocked and selected orb trails;
- sound, haptics, and Reduce Motion preferences;
- tutorial completion and recent Daily records; and
- an unfinished-flight checkpoint so you can resume after an interruption.
Recent Daily records are limited to 31 dates. Other saved information remains until it is replaced or removed by you, the game, your browser, or your operating system.
Browser saves are separate for each website address, browser, and device. The iPhone app stores its data within the app’s local storage. There is no Trajecto account or server copy of your progress. Device backups and restores, where enabled, are controlled by your operating system or platform provider.
3. Website visits, cookies, and security
The website is hosted through OpenAI’s Sites service and delivered using Cloudflare. Hosting and security providers may process connection and request information such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages or files, request time, and security signals to deliver and protect the website.
Trajecto does not include a gameplay analytics or advertising SDK. Website infrastructure may use security cookies, including Cloudflare’s __cf_bm cookie and challenge-related storage, to distinguish ordinary visitors from automated or abusive traffic. These are separate from your locally saved game progress.
Cloudflare describes these cookies and their lifetimes in its cookie documentation. Blocking site storage may prevent progress from being saved; blocking security cookies may affect website access.
4. Support messages and newsletter signup
If you email RhynockGames@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message, and any details or attachments you choose to send. Rhynock Games and the email providers involved process this information to answer your request and investigate the issue.
The website’s email links open your mail application. Opening a link does not send a message; you decide whether to send it. Avoid including sensitive or unrelated personal information.
Newsletter signup is not currently active. The form displays a notice and does not submit, store, or subscribe the email address you enter. A future working signup will explain the subscription process and relevant provider before collecting information.
5. How information is used and shared
Local game data is used to operate the game and remember your progress. Support information is used to respond to you, diagnose issues, and handle privacy requests. Hosting information is used for website delivery, maintenance, and security.
Service providers involved include OpenAI and Cloudflare for hosting and security, and email providers for correspondence. Apple may independently process information for app distribution, device backups, and platform services. Their own policies and service-provider obligations govern their processing.
We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may also be disclosed where reasonably needed to comply with law, protect rights or safety, resolve disputes, or carry out a business transfer.
Provider policies: OpenAI, Cloudflare, Google, and Apple.
6. Legal reasons for processing
Where a legal basis is required, information is processed as necessary to provide requested services, respond to support requests, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing Trajecto, comply with legal obligations, or with consent where applicable. You may withdraw consent where it applies without affecting processing already completed.
7. Retention and deletion
Local game data remains on your device until it is replaced or cleared. We cannot remotely erase or recover those local saves. Support correspondence is kept as reasonably needed to handle the request and follow-up, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Hosting and email providers may retain operational, security, and backup records under their own policies.
You can clear local browser data, delete the iPhone app, or request deletion of support correspondence. See Delete Account & Data for the steps. We may need limited information to verify that a correspondence request comes from the person concerned. Limited records may remain where retention is legally required or necessary for security or disputes.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or request a portable copy of personal information, and to complain to a data-protection authority or appeal a decision. Email RhynockGames@gmail.com to make a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
You can play without creating an account, change game preferences in Settings, and manage local data through your browser or device. Deleting data for this website does not erase data in another browser, at the earlier preview address, or in the iPhone app.
9. Children, security, and international processing
Trajecto does not ask players for an age or date of birth and does not create player profiles. Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of support email and external websites. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
The website uses HTTPS. No system can guarantee absolute security or prevent every loss of local progress. Rhynock Games and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries with different data-protection laws. Applicable provider safeguards and legal requirements govern those transfers.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Trajecto, its providers, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will display a new effective date, with additional notice where required.
